Charlene is a Registered Early Childhood Educator working with young children since 2017. She is passionate about supporting students’ unique needs and developmental stages with empathy and understanding. She prioritizes children’s safety, health, and happiness. She enjoys reading, singing, and creating art.

Christine is a Registered Early Childhood Educator with significant experience creating safe, engaging learning environments. She completed her Child Development Practitioner apprenticeship at Seneca College and holds a Bachelor of Honours Psychology degree from York University. She has worked in various childcare settings in leadership roles, implementing programs encouraging self-regulation, creativity, and positive relationships. She is open-minded and empathetic. She enjoys working out, trying new foods, and hosting game nights.

Cristina is a Registered Early Childhood Educator passionate about nurturing young minds during formative years. She is completing her Early Childhood Education program at Humber College, gaining knowledge about childhood development and inclusivity. Deepika is an Early Childhood Assistant Educator whose journey began teaching English and Social Studies. Her transition from classroom teacher to Guest Relationship Manager before early childhood education highlights versatility and passion. Diana is a registered Early Childhood Assistant from Colombia with a degree in Graphic Design. After moving to Canada in 2013, she worked as a nanny then ECA in Toronto and Ottawa. She is passionate about bringing fun and creative learning through the arts, using design background to complement TLC’s programming.

Faustina is a much-loved team member whose friendly and happy personality brings love and brightness to the community. She asks children about their day and cares deeply about each child she meets. Her genuine love of little ones is evident in her interactions.

Gauri is an experienced teacher with degrees in Social Science and Law. Her passion is guiding children toward their full potential. Over her career, she has taught children ages 2-12, building strong foundation in child development, curriculum planning, and pedagogy. She is committed to creating positive, nurturing learning environments fostering unique talents and strengths. She believes showing the right direction and supporting overall growth is most important.

Harmandeep graduated from Canadore College as a Registered Early Childhood Educator specializing in warm, play-based, inclusive environments encouraging exploration and growth at individual pace. Drawing from early background in medical studies, she brings unique perspective on well-being alongside learning. She supports children with empathy, patience, and careful observation. She holds Early Childhood Montessori diploma from North American Montessori Center and Early Childhood Education diploma from George Brown College. Jennifer has spent over 35 years working with children, bringing warmth and joy to every interaction.

Known affectionately as “Chef JenJen” at Montessori schools across the city, she has delighted children with her culinary creations while nurturing their growth. Jennifer has also worked as a nanny for families throughout the city, caring for children from newborns to grade schoolers. She believes that children learn best through play, curiosity and joy, and she tailors her approach to meet each child’s unique needs.

Jennifer’s superpower is creating an environment where children feel loved, safe and excited to learn. In her spare time, she loves to cook and bake.

Jim is TLC’s much-loved Custodian who spent 30 years in heavy labor construction. He takes extreme pride in his work and enjoys wooden craft projects. A former Greek National ball hockey player for 15 years competing internationally, he also coached Men’s and Women’s Greek National Teams. He enjoys cooking, baking, watching football, and ball hockey.

Kaitlyn is an enthusiastic educator advancing expertise at Guelph Humber University studying Early Childhood Studies. She obtained a diploma from Humber College, discovering her passion for supporting children’s growth. Her creativity flourishes in classroom and hobbies including baking, swimming, nature walks, and makeup artistry. She loves music and family time. She embraces new perspectives and challenges, creating rich, inclusive environments where children feel valued and families feel confident.

Lee is a Registered Early Childhood Educator with over two decades experience, a cherished TLC team member. Her journey began at Centennial College discovering passion for nurturing young minds. Further education in Early Childcare Management at George Brown College perfected leadership and family interaction skills. Her dedication to kindergarten readiness and social skills building has impacted many. She is driven by desire to guide children toward developmental milestones with patience and nurturing touch. Luca is a Registered Early Childhood Educator whose heart beats with children’s laughter and joy. A St. Lawrence College graduate, he has nurtured young minds since 2015 through Kindergarten programs and Tim Hortons Camp Foundation. His learning-through-play philosophy ensures daily laughter, smiles, and positive energy. He loves hockey, skiing, camping, swimming, and especially playing with children, infusing teaching with enthusiasm and vitality.

Luz is an Early Childhood Assistant with deep passion for working with young children. She is knowledgeable about child development, health and safety, and nutrition. Originally from the Philippines, she is mother of two whom she enjoys spending free time with.

She has gained valuable experience working with children infancy to grade 8, including English language learners and students with ASD and behavioral difficulties. Nora is a dedicated educator working with children since 2017. With Business Administration background from Manila, Philippines, she transitioned to early childhood education from love of children. Olga is a Kindergarten teacher from Greece who worked as educator in Australia and now calls Toronto home. In Australia, she enjoyed bringing Greek language and culture to children. As Welfare Newtown Community member, she fulfilled cooking passion creating meals for homeless people and gaining new skills. Throughout 12-year teaching journey, she learned “children are our world” and believes surrounding them with love and care is necessary.

Razzel is a Registered Early Childhood Educator from the Philippines working with children and youth since 2012. She has extensive multilevel, multicultural teaching experience from elementary to high school and college. She worked as youth staff onboard a cruise ship providing fun, safe activities. She holds Bachelor of Secondary Education and Master of Arts in Teaching Language units.
