Rhiannon is an Ontario Certified Teacher teaching early elementary (K-3) since 2018. She previously taught in Nova Scotia and British Columbia.

She has completed professional development in mental health, trauma, and social-emotional learning. She leads various programs including Red Cross Be Safe and Hope and Health Soccer.

In her spare time, she enjoys time with her cats and podcasts.

Christine is a Registered Early Childhood Educator with significant experience creating safe, engaging learning environments. She completed her Child Development Practitioner apprenticeship at Seneca College and holds a Bachelor of Honours Psychology degree from York University. She has worked in various childcare settings in leadership roles, implementing programs encouraging self-regulation, creativity, and positive relationships. She is open-minded and empathetic. She enjoys working out, trying new foods, and hosting game nights.

Cristina is a Registered Early Childhood Educator passionate about nurturing young minds during formative years. She is completing her Early Childhood Education program at Humber College, gaining knowledge about childhood development and inclusivity. Her philosophy revolves around safe, nurturing, stimulating environments encouraging exploration and learning. She values hands-on experiences and sensory exploration. Previous experience at Nova Pastry developed communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. She enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and loves animals.

Danielle Ann is a Registered Early Childhood Educator who embraces every opportunity to mould young minds in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. With a background in Early Childhood Education from Centennial College and a Bachelor of Secondary Education, she brings her experience assisting in classrooms and guiding real-life learning moments into every interaction with little ones. Danielle believes that every child is a unique individual, and she creates spaces where children can explore, imagine, and grow while families trust that their children are in capable hands. Outside of work, she enjoys active sports, reading, and cooking – all of which infuse her day with energy and genuine care.

She believes children learn through play. She enjoys outdoor exploration with her puppy, family travel, and beekeeping.

Jennifer has spent over 35 years working with children, bringing warmth and joy to every interaction.

Known affectionately as “Chef JenJen” at Montessori schools across the city, she has delighted children with her culinary creations while nurturing their growth. Jennifer has also worked as a nanny for families throughout the city, caring for children from newborns to grade schoolers. She believes that children learn best through play, curiosity and joy, and she tailors her approach to meet each child’s unique needs.

Jennifer’s superpower is creating an environment where children feel loved, safe and excited to learn. In her spare time, she loves to cook and bake.

Jim is TLC’s much-loved Custodian who spent 30 years in heavy labor construction. He takes extreme pride in his work and enjoys wooden craft projects. A former Greek National ball hockey player for 15 years competing internationally, he also coached Men’s and Women’s Greek National Teams. He enjoys cooking, baking, watching football, and ball hockey.

She has gained valuable experience working with children infancy to grade 8, including English language learners and students with ASD and behavioral difficulties. Her teaching philosophy centers on safe, inclusive environments promoting child-directed learning (structured and play-based). She is a natural problem solver, flexible educator loving strong relationships. She enjoys art, dance, swimming, travel, wellness, and quality time with her son.

Olga is a Kindergarten teacher from Greece who worked as educator in Australia and now calls Toronto home. In Australia, she enjoyed bringing Greek language and culture to children. As Welfare Newtown Community member, she fulfilled cooking passion creating meals for homeless people and gaining new skills. Throughout 12-year teaching journey, she learned “children are our world” and believes surrounding them with love and care is necessary.

Yasaman holds a Master of Arts in Child and Youth Studies from Brock University, where she researched ADHD-like behaviours and sensory processing. She also has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, giving her a strong foundation in child development and mental health.

Yasaman has worked as both a Math and Reading Instructor and a Play-Based Instructor, adapting activities to meet children’s individual needs and supporting their emotional and developmental growth. She believes every child learns at their own pace and deserves a safe, encouraging space to explore, ask questions, and grow.
